Registration for the 4th International Cassiopea Workshop is open now!
Once again, we will be holding the workshop at the Key Largo Marine Research Laboratory in Key Largo, FL. This year, the field work portion of the meeting will be held from Monday to Friday, with the symposium portion beginning Friday evening and closing on Sunday.
The workshop is a gathering of community researchers interested in sharing their research and generating collaborations. The workshop is split into two portions, the fieldwork portion and the symposium portion. The fieldwork portion allows attendees to collect specimens as well as set up mini experiments while the symposium portion allow researchers to give 15 minute talks to share research and network.
Meals: Breakfast and lunch are provided, along with a Saturday banquet. Attendees will typically organized dinners at the laboratory each night.
Fieldwork Portion : Past attendees have organized collections and run experiments from the laboratory. We will provide materials as possible. Please indicate necessary materials during registration. In addition, there will be organized outings to various locations around the Keys as well as demonstrations at the laboratory.
Symposium Portion: Attendees are required to give a 15 minutes talk in a casual atmosphere to stimulate discussion.
Registration this year will be $100 / person. Space is limited to 25 this year so register early!
As always, students will have priority to dorm access, but space is limited. Register early to secure a spot. Please follow the Locations tab for suggestions to nearby hotel accommodations.
Attendees will be required to submit an abstract to attend. Abstracts do not have to be final, and a summary abstract can be submitted at the time of registration. Final abstracts will be required by March, 2020.
